Facilities Planning Committee Final Presentation

The Navasota ISD Board of Trustees held its regular monthly meeting, Monday, Feb. 17. The agenda included a review and consideration of an Order Calling a Bond Election to be held by the Navasota Independent School District. Community members from a facilities planning advisory committee presented to the Board of Trustees the committee's recommendations regarding the school district's facilities.  Adriana de la Cruz Burnett, Jennifer Fultz, Dr. Clement Glenn, Karen Hale, and Chris Kehl represented the committee which was comprised of more than 50 members representing parents, business, and community. The facilities planning committee met five times during December, January, and February. After hearing the committee's recommendations, the Board of Trustees approved the Order Calling a Bond Election to be held by the Navasota Independent School District, Making Provision for the Conduct of a Joint Election, and Resolving Other Matters Incident and Related to Such Election.
